Ashley's lily

For Christmas a few years ago, Ashley wanted me to paint her a lily. This is her choice of image & colour. I enjoyed doing this for her. I took this picture of the painting in her house tonight. We had a lovely evening together. We went to her dog, Jewel's sniffing course. Very interesting.

Englishman Falls

Frank & I were walking around that provincial park 2 weeks ago. When you use the footbridge across the upper falls you can hear, see & feel the power of the water cascading over the rocks, falling down into the crevice far below. Fascinating. The painting is about 1/2 finished. The rocks in the foreground & left side need to have the layers of green built up for the moss. The water needs it's highlights. In a few days, I'll post another picture of how the painting is shaping up. Ps. I have a new easel
